Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

gobroaad is an IELTS practice website. This page explains what we collect when you use it, why, and what control you have.

What we collect

  • Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture. We use Google only to sign you in; we do not read your contacts, mail, calendar or any other Google data.
  • Your practice: test answers and scores, essays you write, recordings of your speaking answers, vocabulary and grammar progress, study plans, and streaks and badges.
  • Feedback you send: the rating, comment and phone number you enter in the feedback form, and an optional screenshot.
  • Technical data: your IP address and browser information, used to keep the service secure and to limit abuse. A session cookie keeps you signed in.

How we use it

  • To run the service: sign you in, mark your tests, show your progress and apply your plan limits.
  • To give AI feedback on your writing and speaking, and to build your study plan.
  • To keep the service safe, prevent abuse and fix problems.
  • To reply to your feedback. We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.

AI providers

To assess your writing and speaking, the text of your essays and the audio or transcript of your speaking answers are sent to an AI provider (OpenAI or Google Gemini) for processing. We send only what is needed for the feedback, not your email or phone number.

Where it is stored and how long

Your data is stored on our own servers (database and file storage). We keep it while your account exists. When you delete your account from your profile page, your personal data is removed after a short grace period during which you can restore it.

Your choices

  • You can delete your account from the Profile page.
  • You can ask us to correct or export your data by contacting us below.
  • You can remove the app's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Children

The service is meant for people preparing for IELTS. If you are under 13, please do not use it.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions or requests: [email protected], or use the Send feedback option in the account menu.
